I am from Seattle, Washington but have spent the last few years volunteering in Bulgaria(2005-2007) as a Peace Corps Volunteer, and travelling around the globe. I just finished graduate school at the University of Queensland in Brisbane Australia (Masters of International Relations), I am now on my way to the Middle East.

We have a Philippine version of that...more of a tribal event from the boondocks. And geez more graphic than the average Bulgarian celebration. It's more attune to spirit evoking and asking for good harvest.
